About
November 20, 2007 — dannyjacksonMy name is Danny Jackson and I moved to the United States from England in 1998 to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I played college soccer for 4 successful seasons, winning the national championship in 2001, my senior year. I had a fantastic college experience, enriched by the team’s success on the soccer field. I graduated in 3.5 years to pursue my love of soccer, and the dream of playing professionally. I played in Colorado before moving to Seattle, where I currently play.
My focus has begun to move towards the next stage of my life, and how I can help and inspire the youth of today to prepare for the successes of tomorrow. I incorporated my company, United 1to1, in 2006. Our first site is 1to1soccer.com, and our beta version will be launching in December, 2007.

Hi Danny - I’ve enjoyed browsing through your blogs. You have a knack for writing. I especially appreciate your take on American politics…
I am contacting you with the hope that you can help me. In order to graduate, the students at my school need to job shadow and/or interview someone in their career path choice. I have three students that are interested in talking with you and/or Jake about being a professional athlete(I’ve already discussed this with Jake). Would you be willing to do a phone interview or two with these students?
Just so you know, my “cool-factor” shot through the roof when I mentioned that I knew a Seattle Sounder. I am now officially the coolest teacher on campus!
Let me know what you think…. Also, it’d be great to get back in touch with you again!
